the internet is booming! If you want to improve your situation, try these concepts. The internet is still about attracting people with

1. FAST FAST FAST FAST downloads. Make people wait and they’re gone. If you’ve got to make them wait, tell them
how long it’s going to take, and make it worth their while.

2. Use credit cards. Or get a credit card service. 80% of orders will come through credit cards. Tell people EXACTLY how
much will be put on their card.


3. EXPLAIN YOUR DEAL and fully disclose ALL costs up-front. If people don’t know what you’re selling, they’ll go elsewhere. To
soften the deal, provide lots of useful information FREE.

4. Only one in four people believe they will save money over a retail or direct mail alternative to buying on line. Build in value and
tthree out of four will pay full price or more because of the convenience.

5. Affiliate yourself and cross-link with others of like mind. Do due diligence on them first to make sure they’re legit.

6. Respond QUICKLY to e-mail inquiries.

7. Make it EASY for people to get in touch with you.

8. Offer a no-hassle guarantee if customers are not satisfied, and HIGHLIGHT the fact that you do.

9. Don’t send out unsolicited e-mail to prospects. Instead, encourage them to contact you by providing some free information they
can request from your site in a booklet. Most will be happy to pay the postage.

10. Don’t run afoul of abandoned shopping carts, fraudulent credit card use, site stealing. Countermeasures are in the booklet.
